These Terms of Service govern your use of FlySociable, including the mobile apps, websites, APIs, social aviation features, Live Flights, replay, academy features, support tools, and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FlySociable. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, maintaining accurate account information, and all activity that occurs under your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised or used without authorisation.

Use of the service

You agree to use FlySociable lawfully, safely, and respectfully. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its security or availability, scrape or reverse engineer the service except where permitted by law, attempt unauthorised access, or use FlySociable to harm, harass, impersonate, defraud, mislead, or endanger anyone.

Aviation safety disclaimer

FlySociable is a social, tracking, and community platform. It is not certified aviation equipment, not an air traffic control system, not an official weather, charting, airport, NOTAM, traffic, or navigation source, and not a substitute for pilot judgment, approved aircraft instruments, approved navigation products, ATC instructions, official preflight planning, or applicable aviation rules.

Do not use FlySociable for safety-critical flight decisions, aircraft operation, separation, navigation, emergency decisions, or compliance with aviation obligations. You remain solely responsible for safe and lawful aviation activity.

Live flight, replay, GPS, and sensor data

Live flight, GPS, route, speed, altitude, heading, PFD-style, replay, compass, motion, and device sensor data may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or affected by device limitations, calibration, permissions, network quality, battery settings, backend availability, or environmental conditions. You use these features at your own risk and only as non-certified social or review tools.

Permissions and notifications

Some features require device permissions, such as location, background location, notifications, camera, and media access. If you deny or revoke a permission, the related feature may not work. You can manage permissions through the app and your device settings.

User content and licence

You are responsible for content you post, upload, send, or submit, including profiles, posts, comments, messages, media, reports, academy details, and flight-related content. You must have the rights needed to share that content.

You keep ownership of your content. You grant FlySociable a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, display, adapt for technical formatting, distribute, and make your content available only as needed to operate, provide, moderate, secure, promote, and improve the service.

Moderation and enforcement

We may review reports, remove or restrict content, limit visibility, disable features, suspend accounts, terminate access, preserve records, notify users, or contact relevant authorities where we believe the service is being misused, safety is at risk, legal obligations apply, or these Terms are violated. We may also remove content or accounts to protect users, FlySociable, aviation safety, security, or service integrity.

Account deletion

You may request account and data deletion through the app where available, through flysociable.com/account-deletion, or by emailing [email protected]. Some records may be retained where required or permitted for legal, safety, fraud prevention, security, dispute, or service integrity reasons, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Third-party services

FlySociable may rely on third-party services for hosting, storage, authentication, notifications, analytics, maps or links, monitoring, and support. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that are not controlled by FlySociable.

Intellectual property

FlySociable, its name, branding, software, interface, graphics, design, and service content are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for your own content and rights expressly granted by these Terms, you receive no ownership rights in FlySociable.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability of any feature. We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlySociable disclaims warranties of accuracy, availability, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer or data protection law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
